Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy explains what information Wayvo2 collects when you use wayvo2.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Wayvo2 ("we", "us") operates wayvo2.com, a directory and fare-estimation service that helps passengers compare taxi, chauffeur and transfer operators and send booking requests to them.

You can reach us at info@taxi-webdesign.com about anything in this policy.

Information we collect

Search and trip details: pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, passenger and luggage counts, and vehicle preferences you enter into our fare calculator or booking forms.

Booking details: when you request a booking we collect your name, email address, phone number, optional flight number, and any notes you add, so the operator can confirm and run your trip.

Account details: if you sign up (as a passenger or operator) we store your email address and sign-in method. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, used only to create and secure your account.

Operator business details: business name, address, contact details, fleet and pricing information, and verification documents you upload.

Usage data: pages visited, searches made, approximate location derived from your IP address (used to show your local currency), device and browser type, and cookie identifiers.

How we use your information

To calculate fare estimates and show relevant operators near your route.

To pass your booking request to the operator you chose, and to send you status updates about that booking by email.

To create and protect your account, and to let operators manage their listings and bookings.

To improve the service, measure demand in different cities, and keep the platform secure and free of abuse.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

Operators: the details of your booking request are shared with the operator you selected so they can accept and fulfil it.

Service providers that run the platform for us: cloud hosting and database, email delivery, maps and routing (Google Maps Platform), and error monitoring. They may only process your data on our instructions.

Authorities, where the law requires it.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in, remember your currency and language preference, and understand how the site is used. You can clear them in your browser at any time; the site still works, but preferences will be forgotten.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept while the booking is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and dispute purposes. Search logs are kept in aggregate. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@taxi-webdesign.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Security

Data is stored encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS. Access to personal data is limited to what each user role needs: passengers see only their own bookings, and operators see only bookings sent to them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date below. Material changes will be flagged on the site before they take effect.
